After a positive first gameweek, the second was hugely frustrating. In defence I had Vitinho as captain, an excellent pick after grabbing both the clean sheet and an assist, which saved my week from being disastrous.

Football certainly didn’t disappoint for the opening gameweek last weekend, which saw Fantasy EFL make its debut. It was extremely interesting seeing the amount of variety between the teams, which stands us in good stead as the season progresses.

So here we go again. The English Football League is upon us, this time for the 2024/2025 edition of what promises to be another interesting campaign across all three leagues. This season is also the first ever to have a Fantasy game for fans to play and show their knowledge, so for Fantasy addicts like me there’s even more excitement!
